So, you want to write a poem to someone special, but you’re no Shakespeare. Rhyme, meter, feet? There’s no way you can do this, right? Actually, writing a poem isn’t that hard, especially when you have such great material to inspire you – all your loved one’s characteristics.
While many poems are written in a specific poetic form, such as a Haiku or a Sonnet, you don’t have to follow a specific form for your poem. Free verse poetry is poetry that doesn’t have a set form. If you do want to follow a form for your poetry, I found a site that lists types of poetry, including examples of each type and rhyme patterns.
Acrostic poems are ideal for inexperienced poets. Write your Valentine’s name vertically on a piece of paper. Then, write a line about that person for each letter of his or her name. Here’s a very bad example.

S is for your lovely Smile
U is for your Unstoppable optimism.
E is for your Energy.
Give it a try. Even if you end up with something like my less than stellar effort, your loved one will probably really appreciate the effort!

1.) my heart opened up for you,
this feeling is so strange,
so new,

reassure me every thing’s gonna be alright,
now my heart is pounding,
your voice is soft and soothing sounding,
it’s getting harder to breathe,
and the butterflies are freed,

and i’ll never forget what you just said,
this feels to good to be true,
i recognize these are the symptoms of loving you,

you turned a tough heart delicate,
and there’s nothing more to despise.

no matter what you say or do. i realize now that i will always love you. No matter what you think of me.I know now forever you will always be my king. No matter what ever happens between you and me. I will still always love you and i hope that one day you’ll see. No matter what life has in store for us . i promise to go through it without a fuss. No matter what happens to us two. I know that my love for you will always be true.
